I am so grateful for all the support I received throughout the campaign. To everyone who volunteered, donated, liked and shared my social media posts, or supported our campaign in other ways, thank you. This was a huge team effort.

We have proven that there is no such thing as a safe Labor seat in Western Australia. Secret Harbour was one of their safest seats, and after achieving a huge swing, we beat them comfortably. The result has sent shock waves all the way to Canberra!

This result was achieved on a fraction of the budget WA Labor threw at the campaign, something that makes the victory especially satisfying.

I will never forget all the faith put in me, and when I was sworn in yesterday, I thought of every single person who helped make my election possible.

My sole focus now is repaying that faith and serving the voters of Secret Harbour. In addition to standing up strongly for my constituents, I’m also determined to work closely with my One Nation colleagues in the Upper House to bring change to the whole of WA.

My victory was the first of many victories I believe we will see across WA and the rest of Australia over the coming years, at both State and Federal levels. These are hugely exciting times for One Nation.

To all One Nation members and supporters across Australia, I hope my victory in Secret Harbour gives you confidence about what we can achieve together in the years ahead. I imagine, like many of you, I will be following developments in Victoria closely over the next couple of months!
