John, part of my job as a senator is asking questions to make sure that the government is working in your best interest.

Yesterday, doing my job meant coming face to face with the crony Donald Trump hand-picked to lead the FBI, Kash Patel.

Kash Patel has been using FBI resources — your tax dollars — to spoil himself, his friends and his girlfriend. Even worse, instead of impartially enforcing the law, he’s acting as Donald Trump’s henchman and harassing journalists who dare to hold them accountable.

So I asked him directly to answer for his behavior. And instead of straight answers, Republicans tried to shut me down, asked me to “shut up”, and told me my time was done.

I’m not done. Because now is exactly the time to speak truth to power, stand up to bullies, and ask hard questions — and I will never be intimidated by a thug like Kash Patel.

Here’s the reality: with just 48 days until the midterm election, Kash Patel and Donald Trump want to run out the clock on oversight and accountability. So, John, I’m humbly asking you to pitch in whatever you can — because if we have the resources to win BIG this November, I’ll be back with a Democratic majority that they can’t shut down.
