Let's be clear about what is happening to reproductive rights, and who is responsible, John.

Donald Trump appointed the Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade. Since then, his administration and Republican allies haven't let up on their attacks. They keep coming after our reproductive freedom — year after year, state by state.

Just last week, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced it will be testing wastewater samples in cities across the country for traces of mifepristone and misoprostol — the safe, well-studied, and effective drugs used in miscarriage and abortion care.

Anti-choice groups are taking this as a big win, and so are Republican lawmakers who are hell-bent on controlling our bodies. They'll undoubtedly use this study, which they've dressed up as "environmental concern," as an excuse to further restrict these medications that millions of people rely on.

Women won't be free for as long as anti-choice extremists keep rubber-stamping the Trump administration's attacks on our bodies.
