John,

Today is a solemn and somber day in our country’s history. On this day, we remember the fallen heroes who gave their lives to serve our country during one of our darkest hours and we
remember those who senselessly lost their lives to the hands of terrorists.

I will always admire our first responders and police officers who put their lives on the line to help their fellow Americans. The bravery exhibited by civilians who selflessly sacrificed their own lives to help others is the purest display of our shared identity and American values.

Our country always comes together, and I know that we will once again unite under one country and one flag as we did 19 years ago.
Today, I encourage you all to remember the great sacrifices made for our country 19 years ago and the sense of shared experience that made us come together after those tragic events.

Americans are strong, and even after our darkest hours, we still manage to bounce back stronger and more resilient than ever before.

Thank you,
Greg Gianforte
