I have a PhD in clinical psychology, which allows me to see my family clearly – and it’s clear that Donald is a textbook narcissist. He has always felt that his needs and desires come above everyone else – that’s why he directed his supporters to the Capitol on January 6th, why he’s plastering his name on everything he can, and why he’s threatening to steal this November’s election.
His supporters enable this narcissism, but nothing bruises a narcissist’s ego like people who refuse to be intimidated by them.
Zoe Lofgren is one of those people who will not be intimidated by my uncle or any of the small men and women who serve his narcissistic desires. That’s why I’ve endorsed her re-election campaign.
Zoe has been in the room for every presidential impeachment of my lifetime. She was a young Judiciary Committee staffer during Nixon's impeachment. She sat on that same committee for Clinton's impeachment. And she was one of the House impeachment managers who prosecuted the case against Donald.
Then she served on the January 6th committee and put his lawlessness on the record, under oath, in public. Donald has since called for the members of that committee to be prosecuted. Zoe has never blinked once.
That is what actual strength looks like.
It’s no secret that the GOP is terrified right now. Donald’s approval rating is tanking, and he’s bringing the whole party down with him.
