DNC State of the Midterms Update

Prepared for you on 9/16/2026

The DNC is building the largest midterm operation in its history. Here’s what you’ve allowed us to do so far:

⚖️ SUED and STOPPED the Trump administration from undermining vote-by-mail and interfering in the midterm election.

📋 Trained and deployed hundreds of organizers to register THOUSANDS of Democrats to vote in key states.

💼 Hosted our largest-ever training bootcamp for the next generation of campaign staff in Chicago.

💻 Built the tech and data infrastructure to help over TEN THOUSAND Democratic campaigns target swing voters.
Every single program we’re running is mission-critical to winning the midterms, but running them at scale is expensive. Our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is approaching fast, and the uncomfortable truth is that if we fall short of our goal, we’ll be forced to make some tough decisions about which programs to continue.

So we have to ask: Will you chip in today to help us meet our goal, continue funding and expanding these programs, and win back the House and Senate?
