Friend,
We've been in a battle for the soul of our country these last four years. We've grown more divided and distrustful of each other.
Today is a solemn reminder of who we can be, who we must be in the face of fear and attacks.
Today, as we honor the lives stolen and the first responders of that terrifying day 19 years ago, we must remember an America that stands together to face threats, not divided.
We must never forget.
My heart is with all those who lost someone on 9/11 and with the emergency responders who put their lives at risk for ours.
We will never forget.
