Speaker Mike Johnson just canceled House votes for tomorrow — sending us home a day early, after he had already canceled two full weeks of votes in the second half of the month. If you’re doing the math, it means the House will be out of session for SEVEN weeks instead of working for the American people.

Why?

Because yesterday, a Republican Member of Congress filed articles of impeachment against Pete Hegseth, and Mike Johnson is terrified to let us vote on them.

He knows, just like you and I do, that Hegseth is an absolute disaster, and it's not just what's spelled out in the articles of impeachment:

- Waging an illegal and reckless war with Iran

- Putting civilians and service members at risk

- Spending billions of dollars to be losing a war that we shouldn’t be in in the first place

- Using our military to murder civilians in the Caribbean and the Eastern Pacific

- Kidnapping a foreign leader

- Proven to be reckless with classified operational details

- Controlling the press and trying to hide the truth

- Wasting taxpayer dollars on lobsters and steaks

- Bringing his pastor (the one who wants to get rid of women’s right to vote) in to preach to service members at the Pentagon on the public’s dime

The Speaker doesn’t want to give the House an opportunity to hold Hegseth accountable.

He’s a coward, and he shouldn’t be leading the House of Representatives.

So come November, we’re going to kick him out of power and take back a majority that will work to pursue real accountability for this administration’s failures and end this needless and illegal war in Iran.
