That freedom and opportunity should triumph over chaos and cruelty. That
our government works best when it’s working for everyone — not the guy at
the very top.

But I’m not naive. Good ideas on their own don’t win elections.

Not when you’re running in the most competitive, most expensive swing
state in the entire country. That’s why these deadlines matter.
