With the midterm elections approaching by the day, the GOP is escalating its efforts to make it harder for people to vote.
Trump recently ordered new restrictions on mail-in ballots, attempting to give his administration powers over election rules that have traditionally belonged to the states and to Congress.
For millions of people across the country, voting by mail is how they make their voices heard — including seniors, people with disabilities, servicemembers stationed away from home, and working families who can’t always get to the polls on Election Day.
Lori’s fighting back.
She recently joined a bipartisan group of current and former lawmakers challenging the administration’s new restrictions and defending every eligible voter’s right to participate in our democracy.
But this fight is also a reminder of what’s at stake in November. If we want to stop these attacks on voting access and restore a real check on President Trump, we need to elect a Democratic majority in the House.
