This upcoming weekend, Saturday, September 19th and Sunday, September
20th, is our third Weekend of Action, and our biggest yet! Together, the
Swing Left community is aiming to knock 5,000 doors across more than 70
canvasses—and if you live near a target swing district or state, the best
way to make an immediate impact on the midterm elections is to join us.

September 19th, where the Swing Left team will provide you with training
on how to have deep conversations at the doors with Ground Truth, help you
feel confident and comfortable, and assign you a set of doors in a nearby
swing district or state.

Ground Truth is Swing Left’s innovative deep canvassing program where
volunteers are having substantive conversations with voters—Independents,
waning Democrats, and squishy Republicans—about the direction of the
country and their likelihood to vote for Democrats.
Through these conversations, volunteers are finding persuadable voters and
learning more about what voters want from their candidates. The insights
gathered are made available to campaigns and party committees so they can
refine their messaging, targeting, and outreach to build winning
campaigns.
With fewer than 50 days until Election Day, every Ground Truth
conversation with a voter is critical to helping Democrats flip the House

Z here, Voter Contact Director at Swing Left! I’m reaching out about our
upcoming Weekend of Action on September 19th and 20th.
We’re aiming to knock 5,000 doors across 70 canvasses, and we still need
more canvass hosts and volunteers to help us make it happen.
In total, we’re working to have hundreds of thousands of conversations
with voters by Election Day—and it’s going to take all of us doing what we
can to reach that goal.
If you’d like to be a part of our upcoming Weekend of Action, there are
two different ways to take action today:

has on the doors will help build the relationships and organizing power
Democrats need to flip the House and Senate. So please join us in whatever
