John, I won’t sugarcoat it.

Mike Lawler was already outspending us on TV. Then Elon Musk jumped in with attack ads. Then Trump’s super PAC got involved with millions of dollars. Now, the NRCC is dropping a major ad buy.

Republicans are pulling out all the stops to flood NY-17 with dark money.

I’m respectfully asking you to donate $10 to help us fight back against these attacks and win this campaign.

If Republicans are able to sustain this level of unanswered spending against us from here until Election Day…. It's really bad news. That could be the ballgame.

Especially with our last quarterly FEC deadline about to come up. After this deadline, we have to publicly report how much money we’ve raised, and from how many donors.

Pundits, allied groups, Republicans – they’re all going to be watching to see how much money we’ve raised. A strong report is a signal to our friends that we have what it takes to win, and that they should continue to invest in our race.

I don’t want to consider the alternative. So I’m being very direct here.

I need you to give $5, $25, maybe even $100 or more if you can afford to do so. This is an all-hands-on-deck moment to fight back against the dark money pouring into NY-17. Please.
