“[Trump’s] campaign director for battleground strategy, ran through seven scenarios, including a repeat of Trump’s 2016 map; a landslide in which he carries states like Colorado, New Mexico, and Minnesota; and paths to victory through the Southwest and upper Midwest. The campaign put a heavy focus on three states: Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, noting how Trump overperformed Mitt Romney there.”
