CLIFF KINCAID ? A Wall Street Journal article about coronavirus carries the fascinating headline "'Really Diabolical': Inside the Coronavirus That Outsmarted Science." The subtitle is equally intriguing and says in part: "SARS-CoV-2 is a wily virus, with mysterious origins and a powerful ability to infect and spread...." But the authors spend most of their time trying, unsuccessfully, to trace the virus to a natural outbreak from bats.... (more)

CHRISTOPHER RUDDY ? Don't believe anything the Atlantic tells you about President Trump. Let me share a story, one that is not shrouded by "anonymous sources." It's a hot day in August 2017 and my cell phone is ringing, the White House is calling. "Mr. Ruddy, this is the White House. The President would like to speak to you, are you available?" Of course, I am. I check the time. It's about 5 p.m., and I wonder why the President is calling me late on a busy work day. I find out soon enough.... (more)

Earlier Wednesday, the Washington Post published audio from an interview of President Trump conducted by veteran journalist Bob Woodward in March, during which Trump admitted he "wanted to always play it [the pandemic] down. Slanderous piece alleging Trump called fallen U.S. soldiers 'losers' and 'suckers' is totally false
CITIZEN FREE PRESS ? Investigative journalist Paul Sperry tweeted Saturday that the Atlantic's Thursday hit piece claiming President Trump told aides on a 2018 trip to France that American war dead are "losers and suckers" appears to be the work of the Biden campaign. Aides who accompanied Trump on the trip say they never heard the president say such an absurd thing, or anything like it, contrary to unsubstantiated allegations by the Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg, who wrote the scurrilous, embellished piece.
