John,
With the midterm elections only 7 weeks away, it’s time to lock in. This is our chance to take back the House and Senate, to put a stop to Trump’s disastrous war in Iran, to lower the sky-high cost of living, and to pass legislation to rein in Big Tech.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT, learn how we’re fighting for a Working Families majority on a mass call with Angie Nixon and Justin J. Pearson, the Democratic nominees for U.S. Senate in Florida and Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District! Click here to RSVP now.

The Supreme Court’s disgraceful Louisiana v. Callais decision sparked attacks on voting rights across the country, and especially in the South. But we refuse to give in and pull out of the region.
Now more than ever, we need to invest in working class southerners who are hungry for change and ready to fight for it by electing leaders like Angie Nixon and Justin J. Pearson.
Angie Nixon is a WFP member, labor organizer, community advocate, small-business owner, state lawmaker, and mother who has spent years leading a coalition to promote voting rights. Last month, she defied the odds and a political establishment who thought she had no shot by winning her Florida primary for U.S. Senate despite being outraised by her opponent 16-to-1.
Justin J. Pearson is a public servant, community organizer, and proud fighter. When Republicans expelled him from the Tennessee House of Representatives for protesting gun violence, he refused to back down and was reinstated to his seat a week later to continue the fight. Now, he’s running for Congress in the face of racist redistricting to build a government that works for all of us.
In tomorrow’s mass call — our last before the midterm elections — you’ll hear Angie and Justin talk about how their campaigns are standing up to big tech, taking on the political establishment, and building the movement we need in the South. RSVP now for the link to join the call.
