Today is National Voter Registration Day, and we’re asking you to take two minutes to check your voter registration. 

Even if you voted recently, it's worth a look. Registrations go out of date for completely ordinary reasons such as moving, changing a name, or missing elections. And with voter rolls getting extra scrutiny this year, now is a good moment to make sure your record is current.

While you're there, the same free tool can also help you:

• Register to vote for the first time, or update your voter registration
• Request an absentee ballot
• See what will be on your ballot
• Learn how and where to vote in your state
• Check your state's registration and voting deadlines

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3 but in many states, registration deadlines and early voting happen well before that. We want to help you get all the information you need to participate.

Since January 2025, the federal government has taken or proposed at least 550 actions threatening the environment, climate, and human health across agriculture, clean air, drinking water, lands & wildlife, oceans, and more.

Clean air, clean water, a livable climate, protected public lands — all of it is shaped by the people we elect. Voting is one of the most direct things you can do for the planet you live on. That's what Vote Earth is about.
