We want to take a minute to explain why our next fundraising deadline is an especially important one, and why making a donation would make a huge difference today, if you're able to pitch in:

September is the final month before we publish our next quarterly fundraising report. This is our last chance before the election to show how strong our grassroots campaign to re-elect Katie truly is. (Especially to the special interests and Republican Super PACs hoping to unseat her.)

The contributions we receive this quarter will determine how strong Katie's GOTV program and voter turnout can be in the final stretch of this race. We can't leave anything up to chance, and we need to turn out as many voters as possible to keep this district blue.

Katie doesn't take contributions from lobbyists or corporate PACs, and she doesn't take money from executives at Big Oil companies or Wall Street banks. This is a grassroots campaign funded by supporters chipping in what they can to emails like this one.
