If there’s been one constant in these unprecedented last few months, it’s this: access to the internet is a necessity for families and people in our community.
Schools have moved online, citizens are having to work from home, and video connecting programs like Zoom have become important tools for hardworking people in District 42. And that means Universal Broadband access is no longer something people can operate without. It’s become a necessity.
We’ve even seen it ourselves. Whether that’s been watching Liam scarf down the Carolina Reaper Chip, or rock out in a Lip Sync Battle, one thing has been consistent with our attempts to reach grassroots voters online - network connection problems. Or even worse, no access to the internet at all.
Liam supports everyone having Universal Broadband Access, and when he wins in November, he’ll be hard at work making it a reality. Will you join him in the fight today and help bring the basic necessity of internet access closer to everyone in our community?
