The U.S. Postal Service’s internal watchdog agency recently found thousands of unprocessed ballots at mail-processing facilities -- and millions of ballots and pieces of political mail have not been delivered on time.
On top of ballots being further delayed and neglected by our weakened USPS, there are now warnings of a “red mirage” on election night -- where Trump might appear to be in the lead before mail-in ballots are counted and prematurely declare victory to silence the voices of millions of Americans. We can’t let that happen -- especially with 40% of Americans saying they will vote by mail this November
Trump has already proven he’s trying to steal this election -- and it’ll be that much easier to steal if inaccurate vote tallies make it look like he’s won on election night. We’re fighting to ensure no candidate can declare victory before the vote of every American is counted, but so far not nearly enough voters even know about the problem.
