PRESIDENT TRUMP ENDORSES YVETTE HERRELL FOR CONGRESS
PRESIDENT TRUMP SUPPORTS HERRELL TO TAKE BACK NEW MEXICO’S 2ND CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT AND TO PUT IT BACK IN REPUBLICAN HANDS
ALBUQUERQUE, SEPTEMBER 10 — President Trump today formally endorsed 2nd Congressional District candidate Yvette Herrell. In a tweet released today, Trump called Herrell a proven fighter for New Mexico who strongly supports our brave law enforcement, life and the Second Amendment. The President emphasized that Herrell is strong on the border issue and on trade and that he offers his complete and total endorsement.
“It’s a true honor to be endorsed by President Trump today,” said Herrell. “Xochitl Torres Small pretends to support our President in her ads, but voted for the liberal impeachment scam and stands with Nancy Pelosi 95% of the time in Congress. New Mexicans can count on me to stand with President Trump and work with him in Congress to always put New Mexico first.”
Herrell stands with all New Mexicans who promote family values, conservative principles and want New Mexico to become a better place to live.
“President Trump’s endorsement today is a strong reminder that Yvette Herrell is what’s right for the 2nd Congressional District,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce. “He understands that Yvette will fight hard for her constituents and will keep her word when it comes to protecting peoples’ rights and freedoms.”
