Vice President JD Vance is in Kansas today for an event with my opponent.

This tells us two things: 1) Washington insiders are paying close attention to this race because they know we can win; and 2) They’re about to pour even more resources into defeating us.

That’s why this is so alarming: I just reviewed the latest numbers, and we’re still being outspent by Roger Marshall and his allies. They’re blanketing the airwaves with attack ads against me.

This is the worst possible moment to be outspent. That’s why my team set a non-negotiable mid-month goal of $200,000 — but I’m worried we won’t reach it unless 1,000 more donors step up today. In just the last several weeks of this race, we turned a formerly “Safe Republican” seat into a battleground. We’re leading Sen. Marshall in the polls, but we can’t defend our 1-point lead if we’re outspent in the final seven weeks before Election Day.

Here’s the hard truth: JD Vance coming to Kansas is just the beginning. Marshall and his corporate PAC allies will do everything in their power to stop our momentum. That means more attack ads and millions more spent to try to take us down.

I’m running for Senate to be a champion for hardworking Kansans — to listen to and work for Kansans every single day in the Senate. Our momentum is surging, but we can’t defend our razor-thin lead if we let Marshall’s money drown us out. I refuse to take money from corporate PACs, so I’m counting on you:
