Elaine is a former Naval officer who served her country with honor. In Congress, she's been a powerful voice for government oversight, supporting federal workers, and protecting Virginia's shorelines.

We need her continued leadership in Congress, but Republicans are going all-out to defeat her. They've spent hundreds of thousands against her already, and the one public poll of the race has Elaine exactly tied with her opponent (who she defeated by just two percentage points in 2018).
