I hadn't planned on sending another email today, but this is too important. My finance director just called to let me know that we're 45% short of our mid-month fundraising goal. 

Your grassroots support today couldn't be more critical: I'm losing ground in the polls, the GOP is outspending us on the airwaves 3:1, and Elon Musk is spending his personal fortune to defeat us. 

Early voting starts next month, so EVERY dollar helps. At the end of this month, our numbers will go public for one of the last times before the election. We're running out of time to get the resources we need to win.
