Hey everyone,

Big backlog in this one, so let's get to it.

Episode 69 of Flying with Guns [5] is up, American from Chattanooga to
New Orleans via Charlotte. Watch it on YouTube [6] | Facebook [7] |
Instagram [8] | TikTok [9] | LinkedIn [10] | Threads [11] | X [12] |
Rumble [13]

And Ammunition Depot launched AmmoVault, an ammo reserve you can build
$5 at a time [14]. Video on Facebook [15] | Instagram [16] | X [17]

The story that should have every firearms creator paying attention:
James Reeves was subpoenaed for being a guntuber [18]. The Highland
Park lawsuit against Smith & Wesson is now reaching into firearms
media and treating unpaid reviews as advertising. If that theory
sticks, it touches everyone who has ever posted an honest opinion
about a gun they bought themselves.

Also worth your time: the CPRC's 12-year review found armed citizens
stopped 36.6% of active shooter events, and 58.3% in 2025 [19]. The
FBI put that number at 3.9%. That gap is the whole argument. And the
flip side of it in one case: the 19-year-old who shot the Dearborn
mall shooter after he killed one man and wounded another got two years
probation for carrying without a permit [20].

Reciprocity is knocking on the Supreme Court's door from two
directions. A long-haul trucker with Florida and Georgia permits is
asking the Court to strike down Minnesota's refusal to honor them
[21], and another Minnesota gun owner is asking whether Americans need
a license from all fifty states to carry [22].

More from the courts and the states:

*
Harmeet Dhillon put San Jose on a six-day clock over that $1,591
permit fee [23]
*
Missouri's AG sued the ATF to strike NFA registration for suppressors
and SBRs [24]
*
The Third Circuit revived NSSF's challenge to New Jersey's gun
industry liability law [25]
*
SAF is asking New Jersey's Supreme Court to step in for a man licensed
in ten states but denied a gun ID card over online posts [26]
*
Maryland's sensitive places case is fully briefed [27]
*
A federal judge let the out-of-state challenge to Massachusetts permit
delays proceed [28]
*
The Virgin Islands responded to a permit delay lawsuit by passing an
AR-15 ban, so now DOJ is suing over that too [29]
*
California's AB 2047 would ban selling a 3D printer in the state
unless it refuses to print a gun [30]

On the DGU side, the Memphis one is unbelievable. A man attacked at
home by two intruders wrestled the gun away from the one who said
"watch this," then shot him with it [31]. An armed customer stopped a
knife-wielding suspect demanding cash inside a Texas Chase Bank at 9
a.m. [32] An armed Vancouver homeowner detained a man deputies now say
torched a furniture warehouse and a vintage rail car [33]. Closer to
home, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office called a Metairie road
rage shooting justified [34].

More home defense cases: South Carolina [35], Mobile [36], Natchez
[37], and Wichita [38]. Plus two loose dog attacks that ended with
gunfire, in Norfolk [39] and Fort Pierce [40].

_A LITTLE SELF-PROMOTION:_

New product to tell you about. PewCulture sent me a set of their
travel tags, I made a video about them [41], and then we got to
talking. Long story short, I liked them enough that we worked out a
deal to white label them, and I put in an order for 100 sets. USA
Carry Travel Tags [42] are the exact same tags in that video and
article, just with the USA Carry logo on them. They're on preorder as
of today and are already selling fast, so get in while the first run
lasts.

Download the app I built, Armorer [43] and give it a spin. Android is
live, the iPad version is now fully optimized, and version 1.5 brought
some solid new features. It's the best way to get your collection
organized — takes about ten minutes to get started.
