In eight days, after light and dark go exactly even, the shadow moves in, a few minutes at a time, all the way to December.

The shadow...

SHADOW is the practice of turning toward what we've been taught to abandon. Not therapy. Not a workshop. A fall ritual intensive, built to guide us into the depths of what's been cast aside, so we can claim it back as wisdom instead of leaving it in the dark.

The portal of what's possible is through the parts of you that you avoid.

Grief. Rage. Longing. Shame. Power. Dominant culture teaches us to suppress all of it. But what we repress doesn't disappear. It shapes us from the dark.

This equinox, we're practicing something different. Naming what's been exiled instead of managing it, and honoring it instead of hiding it.

Join me for EQUINOX, a free fall ritual of reclaiming — September 22nd, 12pm ET / 9am PT. RSVP here.

This is the doorway. SHADOW, our fall ritual immersion begins September 22nd, the same night as this ritual. Here's a sneak peak.

Save your spot for EQUINOX.

The upcoming Fall Equinox is a threshold moment: day and night in perfect balance before we tip into the long descent of autumn. Across traditions, this season is understood as a time of harvest and release — gathering what has ripened, letting go of what cannot last, and preparing to move into the darker half of the year. It is also the season of shadows, when we are invited to turn toward what is hidden, buried, or uncomfortable.

Dancing with the Shadows is a movement ritual that honors this threshold — and crosses it. In 90 minutes, we'll move through what the season is already asking of us: the grief we haven't let ourselves feel, the rage we've been managing, the power we keep just out of reach. Not as performance. As practice. As a first step into the shadow work that wants to happen in us this fall.

Through movement and ritual, we'll turn toward what has been hidden or silenced — both in ourselves and in our world — and move together to reclaim these truths as power for collective transformation.

Join me this fall equinox for a virtual space for shared movement, reflection, grief, and action towards the more just and liberated world that we all deserve.

Ritual with us.

This workshop is an invitation to go beyond the veil and begin the ancient, necessary work of returning to yourself. The myths that built this world — the ones that tell us who belongs, who leads, and who is worthy of care — are losing their hold, and the body knows it. Long before the mind catches up, the body has been carrying the weight of these stories: in the armor we wear, the patterns we embody, and the creativity we withhold.

The mythical body is a movement retreat — part somatic practice, part group work, part personal growth intensive. Rooted in the understanding that how we organize our bodies is how we organize the world, our journey will weave movement, ritual and embodied inquiry to shift patterns of urgency, control, and disconnection into creativity, trust, and real collective power.

What you can expect:

Daily movement practice, nature-based ritual, political education, mythology and ancestral healing. 4 nights accommodations at the iconic Esalen Institute. Three locally sourced meals per day. Access to world-class mineral baths. Access to grounds, trails, and cliffside ocean in majestic Big Sur. Space for rest, stargazing, reflection, and creative making. Change.
