U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders is
coming for your money. He just introduced a new bill that should terrify every American.
And President Trump just backed the idea for his own sinister reasons.
It's called the
American AI Sovereign Wealth Fund Act and although that might sound good on the surface, like every piece of legislation the name is a red herring for what it actually means.
Here’s what Bernie’s hiding inside the act:
He proposes a one-time 50% stock tax on America's most successful companies.
Not a tax on their profits… not a tax on their revenue… a tax on the shares themselves. In other words, half the equity given to the government, in what I regard as a Marxist attempt to seize the means of production.
It’s nothing but a plot to
usher in total government control. Most people think the bill will never pass. That it's just Bernie being Bernie.
But the reality is, he has been remarkably Machiavellian in how he has written the bill, positioned it in the public opinion, and framed it as a way to help with the cost of living crisis.
He’s leveraged the fear, uncertainty, and envy around AI to advance a dark and terrifying plan he’s dreamt of for 50 years – a plan to collapse the “immoral” capitalist system.
69% of Americans support this bill.
That is more than two out of every three of your countrymen.
And worst of all, in a total betrayal,
President Trump is one of them. Last month,
Bloomberg reported that Trump and Bernie Sanders now both support the creation of a U.S. sovereign wealth fund.
Read that again. Two men who agree on absolutely nothing agree that the government should be taking ownership of American companies and that's because Trump already started the process.
The U.S. government now owns stakes in 37 companies, bought with $27.6 billion of
your money. And the President's own economic director called that
"only the tip of the iceberg." But here’s what almost nobody has grasped yet.
This is not Bernie's idea. And it is not Trump's idea either.
It comes
from a doctrine written by one of the most powerful men in America – a Silicon Valley CEO whose company holds contracts with virtually every agency in the federal government.
And whose co-founder effectively installed the Vice President.
That doctrine has already been adopted at the highest level of this administration and it’s the connective tissue behind almost everything you see coming from the White House right now.
And it’s becoming the
founding document of a different kind of country.
