1. National Republicans at the NRCC have labeled me a ‘top target.’ That means they’ve dedicated major resources to spend on trying to defeat me and install a Trump loyalist in this seat.
2. Indiana’s 1st District is one of just a handful of ultra-competitive districts. The House majority hinges on just a handful of districts across the country, and this is one of them. That means whichever party wins this race in November will be well-positioned to take the House majority.
3. My opponent has loaned her own campaign more than $2 million. And no, that’s not a typo! It’s safe to say that we’re up against some big challenges but I’ve seen what this grassroots team can do when we come together. Because we have something far more powerful: a team who believes in this community and are willing to fight for it.
