California and the entire West Coast is almost unrecognizable right now.
The skies are orange due to the smoke and millions of acres are being
ravaged and burnt because of forest fires.

Now is the time for a comprehensive, once-in-a-generation mobilization
that prioritizes front-line communities, combats the climate crisis, and
creates millions of good-paying union jobs.

Nancy Pelosi is the only member of the Bay Area congressional delegation
who doesn’t support the Green New Deal. We’re teaming up with Sunrise
Movement to call on Rep. Pelosi to acknowledge the urgency of the climate
crisis by finally supporting the Green New Deal.

A Green New Deal will transition away from fossil fuels and dramatically
expand existing renewable power sources with the goal of meeting 100% of
national power demand through renewable sources.

A Green New Deal also provides people across the country with the
opportunity, training, and education needed to participate fully and
equally in a green economy, offering jobs to help rebuild our crumbling
infrastructure.

The health of our planet is at stake and future generations will suffer if
