With more people in both political parties finally realizing the urgency of cutting carbon emissions, we may have a chance to enact bold solutions to tackle the climate crisis. But it is going to take true fighters in Congress to pass anything meaningful to address climate change—and we won’t get anywhere if fossil fuel industry lapdogs like Rep. Ken Buck are not swiftly shown the door.
