We long to give beautiful 11-year-old lioness Massaï, and mighty eight-year-old male Alakay the space, tranquillity, and seclusion of our sanctuary in South Africa. Massaï and Alakay are at a half-way house in Belgium, while we do everything we can to raise the funds needed, and arrange the complex logistics, to give them a new home.
But now the good news. We’ve just heard we’ve been granted the official export permits needed before we can move them 8,000 miles to Africa.
