This is my mom,John.

And I need some help celebrating her retirement. Can you sign her card?

For the past 25 years, she’s been a paraeducator, supporting and making a difference in the lives of countless students with special needs.

I grew up watching her do that work — showing up for her students, advocating for them and making sure they knew someone was in their corner.

I’ve always looked up to my mom. She has weathered every storm life has put in front of her with resilience and determination, while somehow finding a way to be there for my family and for so many other people, too.

I know I’ve talked about my mom before, and I’m sure I’ll talk about her again. But so much of what I admire about her comes back to the way she has always shown up for others.

Her work as a paraeducator has been such a big part of her life, and I feel incredibly lucky to have watched her do it for the past 25 years.

Now, after all those years of caring for and supporting her students, she’s retiring. 🎉

I’d love to help make this moment a little extra special for her. Will you take a minute or two to sign her retirement card and leave a little message wishing her a happy retirement? It would mean a lot to her — and to me.
