A quick update on how we’re powering up.

Friend, this is a campaign unlike any Mitch McConnell has ever faced. We’ve got Mitch in the fight of his political life, and that’s because of hundreds of thousands of people like you.

As we head into the final eight weeks of this race, we’re putting up some incredible numbers, which tell one hell of a story about our campaign:

  • We’ve opened 17 virtual campaign offices and hired nearly 100 field staffers.
  • In August, Team McGrath volunteers completed over 6,748 volunteer shifts and Amy traveled to every corner, and at least 20 counties, in the commonwealth—reaching hundreds of thousands of voters across the state.
  • Almost 220,000 Kentuckians have already requested their absentee ballots. (People are fired up to vote.)
  • Our voter contact team has sent over 1 million texts to voters since July 1st.
  • As of the beginning of this week, this grassroots team has chipped in 1,546,301 individual donations.
  • Together, people like you made August the single-best month of fundraising yet for our campaign. We raised $8.7 million with an average contribution of $48.

You should be proud of all of that. Those numbers show incredible momentum—our underdog campaign is taking flight (so to speak).

But Mitch knows we’re a threat, and don’t just take our word for it, because the numbers speak for themselves. Mitch has raised more than $30 million to defend his red state seat because he knows Amy is a formidable opponent that won’t concede to Mitch’s status quo.

It has to start right here. August was our best month yet, but we need to break our own record in September if we want to pull this off. Chip in $3 or more right now and let’s show Mitch that we’re not here to compete—we’re here to win.

Thank you,
Dan
