It’s Sunday, Sept. 13, and in just 2 days, we’ll hit our mid-month fundraising deadline.

To be completely transparent, we’re nowhere near where we need to be to reach our $1.75 million goal. 

I know we ask a lot of grassroots supporters like you, and you’re probably wondering why we still keep asking. Here’s the reason: If we lose in Ohio, we’ll have no shot at taking back the Senate. 

Sherrod’s last race broke the record for most expensive Senate race in history, and analysts project that we’ll break it again this year. Donald Trump, right-wing billionaires, and GOP groups are pouring over $162 million into attack ads to spread lies about Sherrod and stop us from flipping this seat – and polling is statistically tied.

If just 3% of people reading this message contribute today, we’ll be able to reach our goal, surge ahead, and win this race. But we know not everyone can or will, so we’re counting on the folks who understand exactly what’s at stake to pitch in now.
