John,
With 53 days until Election Day, we are teaming up with When We All Vote to remind you to make a plan to vote now.
Today is Request Your Ballot Day, a national day of action to raise awareness and educate Americans around their options to vote by mail and encourage voters to make a plan to cast their ballot early.
Voters should not have to choose between their health and their vote. Voting by mail is a safe and convenient way to vote from the comfort of your home instead of going to a polling place. Every state offers it as an option, though the requirements and deadlines can vary significantly by state.
If you plan to vote by mail, request your mail-in ballot NOW by visiting When We All Vote’s Voter Resources Hub. Request your ballot right now and get 5 friends to join you.
Once your application is approved, your ballot will be mailed to you and you can fill it out from home. When your ballot arrives, read the directions carefully and fill it out as soon as you can. You can turn in your ballot by dropping it in the mailbox, or depending on the options in your state, you may return it at a designated drop box, or in person at your local elections office.
Remember — make a plan to vote and if you plan to vote by mail, request your ballot today!
Thank you!
