Here’s what’s going on:

In the past year and a half, we’ve built an incredible grassroots
movement. We’ve traveled to every corner of this state. We broke
fundraising records. And against all odds, we took a narrow lead in the
polls.

But then Vivek and his billionaire buddies started panicking. They opened
their wallets and poured in tens of millions to this race – enough to
overwhelm our grassroots campaign.

That kind of money has allowed them to pummel the airwaves with false
attacks on me – and unfortunately, our lead in the polls could be
slipping.

But I haven’t lost hope. All over this state, Ohioans are making clear
they’re ready for change. And despite this massive spending, experts are
calling this the single most competitive race in the country.
