Hey team,

As one of our top supporters, I want to make sure you’re first to know about important campaign updates. That’s why I’ll be sending a round-up of highlights every week (if you don’t want to receive these, click here to opt-out of our newsletter updates).

Here’s what you need to know:

We released a major climate plan.
Cory announced a sweeping $3 trillion plan to address the threat of climate change and build a 100% clean energy economy by 2045. Cory’s plan puts people and communities at its center, encouraging all Americans to build and own a clean energy economy. It phases out fossil fuels on an ambitious timeline and makes sweeping new investments in clean energy technology and infrastructure. Cory’s plan also includes the most sweeping investment to advance environmental justice in history. Add your name if you believe we need to take bold action to save our planet.

Cory visited Black Wall Street.
Cory traveled to Oklahoma last Thursday where he toured Black Wall Street, the site of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. This was one of the worst incidents of racial violence in our country’s history but is often forgotten. Cory was deeply moved by his time spent with this community. Check out his Instagram post reflecting on his visit.

We hit our big end-of-month goal.
August is a notoriously slow fundraising month, but that didn’t stop us from meeting our end-of-month goal. We needed to raise $450,000 in August to stay on track -- and we did it. The goal we set for ourselves was an ambitious one, but this community once again stepped up in a big way. Help us keep up the momentum by donating today.

On Labor Day, Cory stood up for workers.
Cory spent his Labor Day in Nevada, where he stood in solidarity with local McDonald’s workers in the fight for fair wages and better working conditions. He also wrote a piece for TIME in which he voiced the need to “combat corporate power with worker power.” He outlined his bold pro-worker agenda, which includes making it easier for workers to join a union, stepping up enforcement of antitrust laws, restricting anti-competitive practices like non-compete agreements, and incentivizing corporations to start investing in their workers again. Read Cory’s piece here and then share it with your friends and family.

Watch tonight’s CNN Climate Town Hall.
Tonight, Cory will be participating in CNN’s Climate Town Hall. He’ll be talking about his new climate plan and how we can move our country towards a more sustainable future. Cory is excited to share his climate vision before a national audience. He’ll be on at 11:20 p.m. ET. Tune in to CNN tonight or catch a livestream here.

As always, thank you for being on this team.

Talk soon,
