Frankly, running for Senate wasn't part of the plan. I wanted to serve North Carolina from right here at home.

Seeing all of the chaos and horrors coming out of Washington DC, I knew I had to do something. Folks had placed their trust in me throughout my career as a public servant to fight for them – and I felt that responsibility deeply.

This is a race I simply could not walk away from. It’s also one I know we can win.

With a recent poll showing this race statistically tied, and far-right Republicans spending over $100 million to defeat me, I need your help to keep up our momentum.
