Trump's Justice Department just asked the Supreme Court to overrule her anyway.

They lost in court. So now they're trying to go over the judge's head, days before ballots go out, to force through a rule that election officials say is simply impossible to comply with in time.

We told you about the whistleblower who said this same system was built with a "zero-percent failure policy," a design so unforgiving that officials warned catastrophic failure wasn't a risk, it was the plan. This is what happens when a plan like that gets blocked. They don't fix it. They ask a higher court to let them run it anyway.

Election officials aren't bluffing about the timeline. Vendors can't even print the redesigned envelopes fast enough. If this rule takes effect now, ballots don't get delayed. They don't get delivered at all.
