Hey John, it’s Alex.

Today’s the first NFL Sunday of the season and if you’re anything like me, you’re probably getting your TVs set to catch all the action (and maybe spending a little too much time tinkering with your fantasy football lineup).

And while I was gearing up for kickoff, I also took a look at our fundraising numbers ahead of Tuesday’s filing deadline. As of right now, we have some catching up to do to reach our goal.

We’ve come a long way to get here, but with just 51 days until Election Day, we’re running out of time to ensure we have the resources for the critical weeks ahead. What we raise now can directly affect how much we’re able to spend, and with important decisions to make about where to allocate our resources, we can’t afford to fall short now.

We have some ground to make up, and I want to make sure we finish this reporting period in the strongest position possible so if you’re able, can you chip in $10 today to help us catch up?
