Anyone who's spent a quiet morning fishing in Hampton Roads knows that once you finally get a bite, you don’t hesitate. You reel it in.
After decades of living on the Bay, I’ve learned that a good catch isn’t just about luck. It’s about patience and most of all, preparation. (A lot like politics).
So here's what's in my tackle box in my Toss-Up House race:
* Lower costs. Groceries, gas, healthcare. Tariffs have squeezed Hampton Roads families long enough.
* A stock trading ban for members of Congress. If you write the rules, you shouldn't get to bet on them.
* Accountability for the corrupt. I served on the January 6th Committee knowing it could cost me my seat. I'm not about to let anyone off the hook now.
* A fair shake for our veterans. Twenty years in the Navy taught me you don't leave people behind. The DOGE cuts hit veteran services here hard, and Kiggans called them "so necessary."
Four years ago, Jen Kiggans baited us with empty promises. But we’ve learned that she’ll always just float with the current — wherever Trump goes, she’ll follow.
Not me. I’m prepared to win this race, and I won’t hesitate to reel in Washington’s corruption as soon as I’m sworn into Congress.
Will you chip in $10 today to help us land the biggest catch of the cycle and flip VA-02? [[link removed]]
