John, Donald Trump has been sued
more than 750 times since he took office.
750 times.
And in more than 450 of those cases, judges have let Trump's policies stay
in effect — while the lawsuits are still being fought.^1
For years, Trump and his allies have stacked the courts — from district
benches all the way to the Supreme Court — with loyalist judges who'd
rubber-stamp whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted it.
And look at just some of the chaos it’s allowed to ensue:
* Trump attempted to end birthright citizenship
* He froze federal funding to entire states
* He tried to fire a sitting Federal Reserve governor over accusations
she was never even charged with
* He fired the watchdogs whose job is to hold him accountable
* He punished a law firm for refusing to do free legal work for his
agenda
* He's using a wartime law from the 1700s to deport people without due
process.
This is the system Trump built: push unconstitutional, self-serving
policies. Get sued. Fall back on the cronies he installed on the bench to
