John, New Mexico has a message
for Donald Trump: We’re not changing our name. We’re not changing who we
are.

New Mexico will always be New Mexico. Our identity was built over
generations — in our acequias, fields, lowriders, chile harvests,
traditions, and communities that have always looked out for one another.
My roots here run 35 generations deep. I know how special New Mexico is,
and I’ll never stop fighting for the people who call New Mexico home.
While Donald Trump pushes distractions, New Mexican families are dealing
with higher costs and rising gas prices. He can talk about changing our
name, but he can’t erase the identity generations of New Mexicans have
built.
And I won’t stand by while my Republican opponent works to bring Trump’s
agenda to our state and cut Medicaid, SNAP, and Universal Childcare.
My opponent’s vision is Donald Trump’s New America. Mine is New Mexico:
Higher wages, lower costs, stronger schools, and healthcare that’s there
when you need it.
But winning this race will take all of us. [ [link removed] ]Will you chip in
