Good morning. It's Elissa Slotkin.

I acknowledge there's a very good chance you didn't wake up and think "I am going to make a contribution to Elissa Slotkin today." I get it.

But that is what I am asking you to do.

I am one of a small number of Democratic Senators who won their race at the same time Donald Trump won that state.

Over the next few months, I am going to travel a bit and help Democrats in tough races -- like I've done for a number of candidates and in a number of "red" states already. But we're just getting started.

Here in Michigan, we also have an open Senate seat, a governor's race and a number of other close races. I know how to find voters in so-called "red' areas and can help make the difference.

If making sure Democrats have a chance of retaking the Senate and supporting candidates in tough races is important to you, I am asking you to make a contribution before the next FEC deadline ends in a few days to help make that happen.
