- And Trump knew the American death toll could rapidly climb, but he downplayed the virus’ lethality instead.
 
We’re outraged by Trump’s complete dereliction of duty in the face of this unprecedented crisis.
 
We simply cannot sit on the sidelines while Trump devastates our country.
