As you probably know, a few weeks ago my twin brother Alexander Vindman lost a tough primary campaign for U.S. Senate in Florida.

We're all proud of the race he ran, the grassroots support he received, and the way he's embraced and supported the Democratic nominee since his campaign ended.

But this race – my re-election to the United States House of Representatives – is different.

And the truth is, ever since last week our fundraising has slowed down. I am not sure why that is or how it happened, but it's something we have to fix.

Because the timing is not great – to say the least.

Look, this was one of the closest races in the country last cycle. Literally. One of the closest. And we only won because of overwhelming grassroots support.

We need that to pick back up and fast – to hold this seat, to have any chance of flipping the House.
