The Senate is back in session this week -- and I am in Washington fighting to ensure that the Republicans come back to the table and negotiate an urgently-needed economic relief package to support American workers, small businesses, and communities through this pandemic.
But while I’m fighting for you in the Senate, I need to know that you have my back. We can’t afford to let this campaign fall behind while my attention is focused on the fight in Washington.

Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republicans are showboating -- and they are refusing to even debate the comprehensive economic relief package that House Democrats passed back in May.
I’m doing all I can to ensure the next bill that passes the Senate truly supports our state and local governments, provides funding for testing, contact tracing, and protective equipment, extends enhanced unemployment benefits, and provides a boost to our small businesses.
But while I’m working to bring Republicans to the table in Washington, I haven’t forgotten that Election Day is less than two months away. And as the GOP’s inaction in this crisis has been made abundantly clear, Democrats can’t lose sight of the fight for control of the Senate in November.
