In case you haven’t seen it yet, the Senate GOP’s top super PAC is running a wave of attack ads across North Carolina to distort my record as Governor.

The story they’re telling didn’t even happen here – they’re blaming me for a crime committed in South Carolina by a South Carolina criminal who was released from a South Carolina jail!

But the people who are seeing the ad don’t know that, and it’s working – a recent poll out since the ad started running shows that my MAGA opponent and I are statistically tied.

In an ultracompetitive race like this, letting these lies go unanswered risks letting my opponent take the lead – and we can’t take back the Senate for Democrats if we lose in North Carolina.
