In November, millions of voters will cast their ballots in 26 Secretary of State races that will determine who will oversee our presidential election in 2028.
Two of those races are in a dead heat.
The first race to watch is in Arizona, where incumbent Adrian Fontes is statistically tied against Alex Kolodin, who was MAGA Republicans’ counsel in their attempt to overturn the 2020 election results.

🔴 Alexander Kolodin: 38%

The other race is in Ohio, where Democrat Allison Russo is leading against far-right election denier Robert Sprague.

🔵 Allison Russo: 36%
🔴 Robert Sprague: 32%

If elected, these Secretaries of State would make sure that your vote is counted, results are certified, and that our elections are being run in a free, fair, safe, and secure manner – including in states that could decide who wins the presidency.
But if MAGA extremists like Sprague and Kolodin flip these races red, we risk how elections are run in these two battleground states.
