But Alexandria believes that working people everywhere deserve representatives who will fight for them. No matter how blue, purple, or red those states or districts have historically been.
That’s why Alexandria went down to Florida this week to campaign with Maxwell Frost in support of Angie Nixon for Senate.
Organizing doesn’t stop at the places the pundits tell us Democrats can win. Florida has been counted out again and again — which is why showing up there matters.
Alexandria is serious about building power in every part of the country so Democrats can take back the House, win a majority in the Senate, and deliver Medicare for All, universal childcare, and a life all of us can afford.
But hitting the road, hosting events, and organizing to win across the country takes serious financial resources. Alexandria’s ability to travel and support Democrats in states like Florida, Montana and Michigan depends on whether we reach our fundraising targets.
