Another federal agency has joined Trump’s campaign to weaponize the federal government against the American people in the upcoming midterm elections — alongside the FBI, DHS, ICE, USPS, DOJ, and the U.S. Census Bureau.
This time it’s the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and its weapon is blatant, unconstitutional censorship of a Democratic candidate on national television.
Jimmy Kimmel dropped a bombshell on his show: an interview with Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico had been blocked from airing by Trump’s FCC.
This is the kind of censorship straight out of Orwell’s 1984, so extreme it would make even Vladimir Putin blush. Trump is mobilizing damn near the entire federal government to try and rig the upcoming elections. It is unconstitutional and treasonous. And it’s a threat Democrats must take seriously.
We must make this election too big to rig. We need to win elections this November by margins that are undeniable. We cannot leave room for Trump’s election rigging machine to contest and overturn results. That means every supporter in the streets—protesting, rallying, registering freedom-loving Americans to vote, and getting them to the polls.
The work Defend Our Courts is absolutely critical for this November. We’re fighting to expand the firewall of state Supreme Courts on a national scale and turning out voters in states with key House and Senate races. This is how we build a movement strong enough to block Trump’s attempt at a fascist takeover of America.
